Content of DVGW-Information Gas No. 28
DVGW Technical Information GAS No. 28 is aimed at infrastructure operators involved in supplying a black start-capable gas-fired power plant, in order to maintain gas availability in the event of a major disruption to the electricity grid.
Due to the medium-term phase-out of coal-fired and nuclear power plants gas-fired power plants are becoming increasingly important, both for the secure generation of electrical energy and for the black start of the electricity grid.
This DVGW Technical Information primarily presents an overview of the current situation and uses specific supply scenarios to provide information on gas supply for black start capability, on the existing emergency power concept in the gas infrastructure and on weak points of grid components not supplied with electricity.
