Set of Rules for Hydrogen: Industry Module
The DVGW Set of Rules for Hydrogen defines clear technical requirements for the planning, construction, and operation of hydrogen infrastructures – from production and distribution to delivery to the industrial plant. It covers system and operational safety, occupational safety, and the conversion of existing natural gas facilities to hydrogen, and specifically supplements proven regulations with hydrogen-specific requirements. For energy-intensive indstruies that use hydrogen or are planning to switch from natural gas, it thus provides a robust foundation, regardless of whether the project involves new construction, retrofitting, or the qualification of supply chains.
