Supplement G 459-1 Gas Service Lines
Alongside of the measures described in DVGW Code of practice G 459-1, par. 220.127.116.11 in the event of uncontrollable gas escapes and fires in buildings, the currently valid version of Code of practice G 459-1 has been modified and expanded to include to the influence of third parties on residential service entry lines in section 3.1.3 “shut-off options" by inserting sub-section 18.104.22.168 “Automatic shut-off components”.
Gas service lines for operating
This Technical Rule G 459-1 is applicable to the planning and construction of service lines for public gas supply up to an operating pressure of 4 bar.
Gas infrastructure - Gas installation
This standard applies to gas installations operating at ambient temperatures between - 20 °C and 40 °C and operating pressures up to and including 60 bar. For operating conditions outside these limitations, reference should additionally be made to EN 13480 for metallic pipework.
